POSTERIOR LABROCAPSULAR PERIOSTEAL SLEEVE AVULSION COMPLICATING LOCKED POSTERIOR SHOULDER DISLOCATION

This case presents the imaging features of a posterior shoulder disloc ation complicated by a rare but surgically relevant lesion of the post erior labrum. Due to the attachment of the posterior capsule to the po sterior portion of the labrum, which in itself is attached to the post erior scapular periosteum, stripping of the labrum by the posterior ca psule resulted in a posterior labrocapsular periosteal sleeve avulsion .
