SEA-WATER TEMPERATURE AND SALINITY OFF ROSCOFF, 1991-1997

Sea water temperature and salinity off Roscoff 1991-1997. Temperature and salinity were measured bimonthly in a station located at 3.5 nauti cal miles from the coast line at 60 m depth. The results of surface an d bottom measures are presented for the 1991-1997 period. The annual m ean temperatures are compared with that of the four last decades (1958 -1997). The 1958-1997 mean temperature is 12.15 degrees C, but the las t decade 1988-1997 mean temperature reaching 12.45 degrees C is the wa rmest.
