Abstract
In this communication we consider an application of new selective wate r sorbents for freshwater production from the atmosphere. We present a general scheme of water production and discuss its efficiency in diff erent climatic areas. The results of our lab-scale tests have demonstr ated the feasibility of this method with the output of 3-5 kg of water per 10 kg of the dry sorbent per day.
