DETERMINATION AND STANDARDIZATION OF ABIOTIC FACTORS LEADING TO DEVIATIONS FROM NORMAL FUNCTIONING OF PHYTOPERIPHYTON COMMUNITIES IN WATER BODIES OF THE ELISTA RIVER

On the basis of hydrochemical and hydrobiological monitoring in the El ista River (Kalmykia), its ecological state was assessed by the method of rank distributions of size-morphological groups-of phytoperiphyton . Hydrochemical factors that affect the functioning of phytoperiphyton communities are defined. Ecologically tolerable levels (ETL) of these factors are calculated. At levels higher than the ETL, communities ar e destablized.
