Abstract
The currents in a three-phase, three-wire system with linens load impe dances, i.e. no distortion generation in the load, are decomposed by t he FBD- and Czarnecki methods to investigate the correspondence betwee n the two methods. The different systems used are systems with balance d loads and systems with unbalanced loads with combinations of additio nal inductive lends and distorted voltages. The different current comp onents of the methods are compared to each other for balanced and unba lanced conditions. It is concluded that good correspondence can only b e established in the case of a balanced three-phase system.
