Abstract
A one year research effort was launched to investigate the internal im pedances and coupling impedances within the public low-voltage network in the frequency range from 2 kHz to 9 kHz. At 250 different nodes, r oughly 6 000 impedance measurements were carried out. In this paper, t he measurement method and the equipment used are described and a new ' 'wireless'' method for measuring coupling impedances between distant n odes is presented. The most important results of the measurements are also summarized.
