Abstract
Differential thermal analysis (DTA) technique was used to determine th e glass transition temperatures of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). Whe n PMMA was adsorbed on alpha-alumina, DTA could not use to obtain the glass transition temperatures of the system PMMA/alpha-Al2O3 Inverse g as chromatography at infinite dilution proved to be an excellent techn ique to highlight glass transitions and local transitions of PMMA adso rbed on alpha-Al2O3, at various covered surface fractions.
