Abstract
The compound [SrTa2(OEt)(6)(mu-OEt)(4)(mu-O-bis-dmap)(2)] 1 has been p repared from the reaction of the mixed metal alkoxide [SrTa2(OEt)(8)(m u-OEt)(4)] with the'nitrogen containing ligand bis-dmapH [bis-dmapH = 1,3-bis(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol]; the bimetallic alkoxide is a poten tially useful precursor for technologically important mixed metal oxid es, the X-ray single crystal structure of 1 has been determined.
