Abstract
The network analyzer is typically used to measure S parameters at micr
owave frequencies. However, due to its phase measuring capability, the
network analyzer is very expensive. This article presents a method of
S-parameter measurement using an incident and quadrature (I/Q) demodu
lator. Both magnitude and phase are measured experimentally and these
values are compared with measurements taken by a network analyzer.
