Abstract
An integrated multichannel optical wavelength monitoring circuit for w avelength division multiplexing communication systems is presented. Fu ll wavelength coverage of the working range without any blind spot is realised by a centre-offset phased-array waveguide grating design. The monitor exhibits a wavelength resolution of 0.02nm/dB (200GHz channel spacing).
