Mineral carbon sorbents based on KSK-2 silica gel (460 m(2) g(-1) spec
ific surface area, 12-15 nm pore size) were obtained by catalytic pyro
lysis. Sorption properties of the sorbents were investigated with resp
ect to organochlorine pesticides (e.g., Lindane) and phenol.
