Abstract
This letter presents a microwave-imaging approach to the problem of ev aluating the electromagnetic field distribution inside a model of the human head of a user during a personal mobile communication. After a b rief presentation of the mathematical formulation, we focus the conten t of the paper on the applications of this technique in the biomedical domain. Considering a realistic 2-D model we obtained preliminary res ults showing the potentiality of the proposed imaging algorithm. (C) 1 998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
