Abstract
Preparation and characterization of different nickel catalysts for the oxyreforming reaction was studied in this work. The catalysts were pr epared by impregnating two different precursor compounds (nickel nitra te and nickel acetylacetonate) into alpha-Al2O3 and alpha-Al2O3 modifi ed by a layer of aluminium oxide. This modification led to an incremen t in the dispersion of the active phase and to a more active catalyst. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
