Abstract
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) can cause hyperintese lesions in t he corticospinal tract but rarely can also cause T-2 shortening in the motor cortex bilaterally. The present case of ALS showed unilateral T 2 Shortening of the superior parietal lobule without corticospinal tra ct changes. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
