Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) can cause hyperintese lesions in t
he corticospinal tract but rarely can also cause T-2 shortening in the
motor cortex bilaterally. The present case of ALS showed unilateral T
2 Shortening of the superior parietal lobule without corticospinal tra
