Abstract
The first-order electric field-induced spectrum of NO2 arises from off -diagonal elements of the Stark Hamiltonian and the first-order nuclea r-quadrupole Hamiltonian. The first-order electric field-induced spect rum of NO2 was analyzed by semi-classical theory and observed by Stark modulation electric rotation laser spectroscopy. (C) 1998 Elsevier Sc ience B.V.
