Abstract
Mucosin (1), a new carboxylic acid containing an unusual bicycle [4.3. 0.] nonane skeleton, has been isolated from the Mediterranean marine s ponge Reniera mucosa. The structure of 1 is suggested on the basis of spectroscopic data. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
