A method for including the hodoscope of the SVD-2 setup in the first-l
evel trigger is presented. Using the difference in the occupation of t
he scintillation hodoscope planes with charged tracks from the charm-p
roduction and background events, it is possible to highly enrich the s
ample with the events with the charm-particle decays, The trigger may
be optimized for extracting the charm events with the given decay mode
. The numerical estimations were obtained by the Monte Carlo simulatio
n of pp-interactions at 70 GeV/c, and according to the PYTHIA and GEAN
T 3 programs.
