A laser spectrometer software is proposed for the continuous processin
g of laser pulses detected at a repetition frequency of 12.5 Hz with s
imultaneous experimental data display. The algorithm measures the rela
tive intensities of biharmonic pumping components, calculates the wave
length, and records a re-emission spectrogram of the molecular medium
. The problem of correctly sharing the computational time resources be
tween the time-consuming subroutines is solved by using a multithread
model. The software is implemented within a widely used operational sy
stem, OS/2.
