Abstract
A device for studying magnetic properties of superconductors by a mech anical method is described. The device ensures force measurements down to 0.5 x 10(-3) N with a sensitivity of 0.5 x 10(-7) N in a temperatu re range of 78-300 K at magnetic fields of 0-0.1 T and sample vibratio n frequencies of 10(-4)-1 Hz.
