The set of equations for semiclassical theory of resonance coherent Ra
man scattering (CRS) of a rectangular pulse in a cylindrical sample is
solved numerically with the use of the integral representation. The e
ffects of retardation of the radiation and the influence of the pump d
iffraction on the Stokes pulse generation are neglected. The pulse sha
pe and the directivity diagram of the resonance CRS are found for diff
erent values of the Fresnel number.
