PATTERNS OF MIGRATION OF TECHNOGENIC POLLUTANTS IN THE TROPHIC CHAIN OF LACTATING COWS

Patterns of migration of Cs-137 and heavy metals along trophic chains of lactating cows were studied under the conditions of technogenic con tamination of fodder fields in central Russia. Coefficients of transfe r (CTs) of Cs-137 and heavy metals from fodder to milk in different pe riods of cow keeping were defined, seasonal variations in CTs were rev ealed, and the effect of food type on the intake of chemical elements from food by lactating cows was demonstrated.
