Abstract
A speckle correlation technique is proposed for the measurement of sma ll object tilt. Theoretical analysis is formulated for a general case of object tilt. Simulation and experimental studies are performed to v erify the outcome of theoretical predictions and accuracy in measureme nt. Sensitivity of tilt measurement is studied and quantified from obs ervations made from object position in various longitudinal planes. (C ) 1998 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
