Abstract
Titania-supported tungsten oxide catalysts with different W loadings u p to 9 wt. % and calcined at different temperatures have been prepared and characterized. It is found that W hinders the initial sintering o f anatase, providing thermal stability. The interaction of W with TiO2 and the amount of hydroxy groups present on the surface can limit dif fusion, thus reducing the sintering rate.
