Abstract
Kinetic analysis is presented for the so-called rollover mechanism in hydrogenation of dialkylbenzenes. The theory of complex reactions and graph theory are applied for discussing plausible mechanisms, it is de monstrated that mechanisms which involve either desorption-readsorptio n of some reaction intermediate or some kind of ''rollover'' of an ads orbed intermediate, result in similar kinetic equations if these steps are reversible.
