Abstract
Natural 1, 3 and nonnatural 2, 4 models for the photosynthetic reactio n center based on RuL2L'- and RuL3- complexes were prepared. Photophys ical studies with static and time resolved spectroscopy demonstrated a clear noncovalent interaction between 1-4 and the acceptor BXV4+, bei ng dominant in the complexes 3 and 4 having two binding sites per bran ch. The results were supported by NMR experiments.
