Abstract
A thermodynamic evaluation of the Fe-FeS-MnS-Mn system has been made b y using special thermodynamic models for describing the properties of the individual phases of the system. Most part of the thermodynamic pa rameters was taken from earlier assessments and the rest of the parame ters were optimized to get a good correlation between calculations and experimental information.
