Abstract
A review of research on Organization Development describes emphases in the OD field. A logical classification system for independent and dependent variables frequently employed in OD interventions is proposed for the continued theoretical and practical development of OD. Problems of methodology and research design are summarized and methods for improving effectiveness of OD research are suggested.
