Workers' Compensation - An Adequate Employee Benefit?

Since first enacted over 60 years ago, Workers' Compensation laws have been considerably revised. Although they have moved closer to realizing their enactment objectives, they still do not provide adequate protection for the worker and his/her family. Thinking concerning social responsibility may have progressed enough that adequate legislation can now be enacted.
