Abstract
The appropriateness of conventional diffusion-of-knowledge perspectives on the use of behavioral science research is questioned. The need for an experimenting approach to organizational change which emphasizes diagnosis, modification of change strategies during implementation, and organizational commitment to problem-solving rather than to solution-implementation are discussed.
