Abstract
The nonlinear theory of long Marangoni waves in systems with two inter faces is developed by means of asymptotic expansions. The self-consist ent three-layer approach is used. In the case where the thickness of o ne of the layers is small, the system of coupled equations governing t he deformations of both interfaces has been derived. Traveling wave so lutions of this system are investigated analytically and numerically. [S1063-651X(98)13510-9].
