M. Lim et C. Saloma, DIRECT SIGNAL RECOVERY FROM THRESHOLD CROSSINGS, Physical review. E, Statistical physics, plasmas, fluids, and related interdisciplinary topics, 58(5), 1998, pp. 6759-6765
We present a method for directly obtaining the 2M equally sampled ampl
itude values of the analog input signal s(t) from the 2M locations {t(
i)} where it intersects with a reference signal r(t) = A cos(2 pi f,t)
. Until now, high-accuracy signal recovery in sinusoid-crossing sampli
ng had been achieved only indirectly using spectral methods. The recov
ery requirements are (I) \s(t)\<A and (2) W less than or equal to 2f,
where W is the bandwidth of s(r). The recovery method is evaluated asa
function of the accuracy in which the: crossings are located, and the
sampling period T = 2M Delta, where Delta = 1/2 f(r). Its performance
is also compared with other direct interpolation schemes. [S1063-651X
