Abstract
A lattice Boltzmann model for multicomponent fluid flows is used to si mulate the two-dimensional Rayleigh-Taylor instability. The dynamical processes of the instability, varying from linear growth to mixing, ha ve been simulated. The results agree with experiments, analytical stud ies, and other numerical simulations.
