Abstract
Mental health issues in correctional institutions have become increasi ngly important with growing numbers of inmates requiring services. Sev eral new concerns have arisen, such as cc-occurring disorders and the benefits of prison-community linkage programmes, and much of the resea rch is still preliminary.
