Abstract
A negative impedance converter (NIC) has been modified to provide hyst eretic operation using the Schmitt trigger in the negative feedback lo op. The possibility of applying the hysteretic NIC for building LC and Wien-bridge based chaotic oscillators is demonstrated both numericall y and experimentally.
