My experience at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

The experiences of a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis during the summer of 1994 are discussed. An overview of the Federal Reserve System is presented. The visit at the St. Louis Fed enriched the Anne Beatty's perspective on academic life, provided her with institutional knowledge helpful in research and teaching and allowed her the opportunity to write for a much broader audience.
