Abstract
The performance of circular patch antennas attached to a laminated aut omotive windscreen is described. Experimental work and results compute d from a spectral domain analysis investigate the input impedance, rad iation patterns, and the effect of surface wave propagation within the glass. The overall efficiencies of several combinations of substrates and superstrates are presented. Variations in the dimensions of the l aminate are discussed as they have a significant effect on patch perfo rmance.
