Abstract
An accelerant method is proposed to calculate Green's function for a h orizontal dipole in a parallel plate waveguide. The expression in the spatial domain is simple and easily coded. It is advantageous in a wid e frequency range and for a larger ratio of distance over height. For a small ratio of distance over height, the computing efficiency is com parable with the complex image method without the need for complex mat hematical pretreatment.
