Abstract
The cationic palladium complex (phen)Pd(Me)(OEt2)+BAr4- [phen = 1,10-p henanthroline; Ar = 3,5-C6H3(CF3)(2)] catalyzed the intramolecular hyd rosilylation of 4-pentenylsilanes and 5-hexenylsilanes to form silacyc lohexanes in 43-87% isolated yield and with excellent regioselectivity (typically greater than or equal to 98:1).
