Abstract
Apparent Arrhenius parameters for monomolecular desorption from the sq uare lattice with a complex elementary cell are analyzed by employing the transfer-matrix technique. The results obtained are compared with the experimental data for the CO/Ni(100) system. The transfer-matrix t echnique is shown to be very effective for studies of two-dimensional systems with complex lattices and large elementary cells.
