Abstract
An abietane diterpenoid was isolated from an ethyl acetate extraction of Taxus cuspidata cell suspension media. The structural assignments w ere established by mass spectroscopy, and H-1 and C-13 NMR studies inc luding COSY, HMQC and HMBC. This compound was determined to be poxy-12 -methoxy-8,11,13-abietatriene-3,7,11-triol. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
