Abstract
The paper considers the process of nucleus formation accounting for no n-stationary nucleation effects due to the changing number of active s ites. Theoretical expressions are derived for the current I-p(t) of pr ogressive nucleation in three particular cases depending upon the grow th mechanism of the single clusters: charge transfer control, diffusio n control and combined diffusion and migration control of the growth c urrent.
