The Au-Mo heteropolyanion him modified electrode has been prepared by
electrochemical deposition. The modified electrode is characterized wi
th an electrochemical method. Three couples of reversible redox peaks
of surface wave are observed which correspond to reduction and oxidati
on through two-, four- and six-electron process, respectively, in the
range of +0.7 V-O V in 2.0 mol/L HCl. Under this condition, the modifi
ed electrode displays a strong catalytic activity towards the reductio
n of NO2- and Fe3+.
