M. Mullerpreussker, TOPOLOGY AND MONOPOLES AT THE DECONFINEMENT TRANSITION - A RENORMALIZATION-GROUP SMOOTHING ANALYSIS, Nuclear physics. A, 642(1-2), 1998, pp. 287-298
Renormalization group smoothing in the context of classically perfect
actions is employed in order to resolve the topological structure of f
inite temperature non-Abelian gauge fields in the neighbourhood of the
deconfinement transition. We particularly concentrate on the interrel
ation between semi-classical local excitations of selfdual fields and
Abelian monopoles.
