Abstract
New nickedl(II), cobalt(Il), copper(II) and cadmium(II) complexes of a Schiff base ligand formed by condensation of furil with S-benzyldithi ocarbazate [HFBT]. These have been synthesised and characterized by el ement analysis, and spectral [IR, UV-vis, H-1-NMR and C-13-NMR] measur ements. The spectral data show that the ligand behaves in neutral bide ntate or mononegative bidentate manner.
