Abstract
Novel surgical technique (placement of a valve-containing conduit betw een left ventricular apex and descending thoracic aorta without cardio pulmonary bypass) is proposed for the treatment of severe obstructive cardiomyopathy. Short- and long-term results of first 16 operations ar e presented with discussion of the future of such interventions and in dications for them.
