Abstract
We describe two patients who developed spontaneous pneumomediastinum w ithout pneumothorax against a background of bleomycin-induced pulmonar y interstitial disease whilst on treatment for metastatic germ cell tu mours of the testis. Pneumomediastinum is a rare but recognized compli cation of bleomycin-induced lung toxicity, which has previously only b een described in association with pneumothorax.
