Abstract
Although melanoma accounts for fewer than 5 per cent of cutaneous mali gnancies, it is responsible for more than 75 per cent of skin cancer d eaths. Metastasis generally proceeds from regional lymph nodes to visc eral organs, with the lungs, liver, brain, and bowel being most common ly affected. Herein, we report a case of malignant melanoma metastatic to the ampulla of Vater treated with a pancreaticoduodenectomy.
