We investigate the quantum tunneling of a domain wall placed in a magn
etic field at an arbitrary angle. Using classical soliton solutions, w
e derive a domain wall mass which depends on the magnetic field and fi
nd that the tunneling time and the crossover temperature strongly depe
nd on the direction of the magnetic field. The results are also discus
