Abstract
We present a rigorous analytical solution to the efficiency factor for
radiation pressure and the scattering cross section of an aggregate o
f small spheres, which is applicable to the general case of an ensembl
e of small nonspherical particles. Practical examples show that the th
eoretical results agree with laboratory scattering measurements. (C) 1
