The flow of two immiscible fluids in capillaries under conditions when
the pressure drop through the capillary may change harmonically is co
nsidered. The boundary between fluids in addition to the oscillations
about its equilibrium is found to have a preferable steady-state motio
n. Physical and mathematical models of the phenomenon are used to inte
